Labor Support Skills Workshop

This workshop is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing,
 and also approved by the District of Columbia Board of Nursing, for 8 contact hours.

Objectives

  1. Apply labor support techniques that decrease medical interventions.
  2. Utilize non-pharmacological pain management techniques in patient care.
  3. Describe how mother-friendly health care practices improve patient satisfaction.
  4. Evaluate current care practices according to standards of evidence-based care.
  5. Create strategies to implement evidence-based patient centered care.
